Who’s eligible?
Employee eligibility
You are eligible for Schneider Electric benefits if you are a:
- Salaried or hourly full-time employee;
- Regular part-time employee, scheduled to work at least 17.5 hours per week; or
- Union employee covered by a collective bargaining agreement providing coverage by this program.
NOTE: Temporary workers and contracted or leased employees are excluded from Schneider Electric benefits.
Eligible dependents
At Schneider Electric, we recognize the importance of benefits coverage for your family. If you are eligible for benefits, you may cover your spouse or domestic partner and your children, as defined below. Also see below for the information you need to submit to ensure they can be covered.

Spouse | A person to whom you are legally married, including common law spouses and same-sex spouses legally married in states where such marriages are recognized. |

Domestic partner | Same- or opposite-sex partner (no age limit) with whom you are registered with an authorized government agency or, if not registered, with whom you are involved in an ongoing and committed relationship and who has been residing with you for the last six consecutive months. |
